HEALTHY EATING!


HOW TO BE A HEALTHY TEEN?

Week 4 (From may 11th to may 17th)


Teenagers need to have good habits to grow up in good conditions. So, you can do different activities like have a good diet, rest and play sports.

1. Read the poster for a campaign to encourage teenagers to live healthy lives. Match the headings (1–3) with the examples (a–c).




2. Answer the following questions in the notebook

1. Do you have a shower every day? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. 
2. Does your best friend get enough sleep? Yes, he (she) does. / No, he (she) doesn’t. 
3. Does your teacher drink lots of water? 
4. Do your classmates eat a balanced diet? 
5. Do you wash your hair regularly? 
6. Does your partner keep his/her nails short? 


3. Now watch the video bellow. It will teach how to classify food. As soon as you finish read the text about nutrients. 


Read the chart and match the nutrients (1–5) with the types of food (a–e) in your notebook. (Lee el cuadro y une los tipos de comida con su correspondientes nutrientes)

PERSONAL CARE HABITS AND ROUTINES


HEALTHY OR UNHEALTY?

Class 3 (May 4th to may 10th)


We all love food and we know that food provides us with energy, vitamins and nutrients for our body. But sometimes we eat fast food many times a week and that is bad for our health. Therefore, it is necessary to classify and be conscious of what we eat.

Activity 1

Watch the video bellow and write on your notebook the vocabulary about food. Please in one column write healthy food and in other column write unhealthy food. (Mira el video y en el cuaderno escribe un listado con ese vocabulario, en una columna escribe comida saludable y en otra columna comida no saludable en inglés)

3. You have already practiced the vocabulary! Now, please download a worksheet in the following link. Anwer the questions and pass them in a Word format. After that send it to the teacher's e-mail.

1. Look at the chart and read the description of a traditional game. This is a report where I show you the name of the game, the number of people that play that game, the material we use etc,

look at the example!



My favourite traditional game is skipping because you can play it with other people. To skip you need only a rope and energy! This game is good for people because they do exercise and have fun!


2. Please choose one traditional sport and make your own chart as in the example. Then write a short description of that game in a small paragraph. Don't forget to send it to this e-mail: profenoryda32@outlook.es

Free time is the leisure time that you don’t need to work or do compulsory activities. People feel themselves relaxed and stress-free in their free time. If someone likes doing certain activities in their free time it is called “free time activities”, “spare time activities”, “hobbies” or “recreation activities”. These activities are done for enjoyment and amusement.

What is your favorite place? Do you prefer living in the city or in the countryside?
